SO. In the past week, I've -

-gotten a tetanus shot, which made my dominant arm go numb for a couple days (I'm left handed, but the doctor assumed I was right handed and gave me the shot in my left arm without asking me - it's difficult to function when it takes a few seconds for your brain's signals of "hey, fingers, move" to register)
-gotten a chicken pox shot on the same day as the tetanus shot - this one took effect right after the tetanus shot wore off and made my right arm itchy
-on the same day the chicken pox shot kicked in, my period started, which is akin to having someone kick me in the stomach repeatedly for two days. This, along with itching. AWESOME.
-Red vs. Blue was depressing as usual. Church/Tex depressiveness, York/Carolina depressiveness, Carolina in general depressiveness, Sigma and Maine are creepy motherfuckers, no focus on the present timeline so Caboose is still terrified of Church and THAT is depressing, THIS SHOW USED TO BE A COMEDY WHAT THE HELL. (I'm still loving it, this is probably one of my favorite seasons BECAUSE it's so plot heavy, but damn, escapist fiction this ain't.)
-And then I got the flu! I feel better now than I did two days ago, but my ears are still clogged and I'm still coughing on everything.

BEST WEEK EVER I SWEAR TO GOD.

Let's make this suck a little less, shall we? Memes! Delicious.

ThIs Or ThAt?

Adele or Celine Dion: Eh... Adele? I don't particularly love or hate either.

Green Day or 3OH!3: Green Day. I like a few of their songs. HATE 3OH!3.

Coldplay or Linkin Park: Linkin Park, but making fun of Coldplay's "Yellow" is still a favorite pastime. "I swam across for you, and it was all yellow!" NO.

Andrea Brocelli or Josh Groban: Don't know either of them.

Charlotte Church or Sarah Brightman: Don't know either of them.

Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood: No.

Brad Paisley or Keith Urban: No.

David Guetta or LMAFO: David Guetta. Sometimes. LOVE "World Is Mine" and "Titanium". "Sexy Bitch" is annoying. But at least he's only annoying some of the time. LMFAO are ALWAYS annoying.

Owl City or B.o.B: Haven't heard enough of either to care, really. Fireflies is nice, I guess, but one of those songs I tend to forget about the second it ends. I think I'm more familiar with Weird Al's version. =P Couldn't name a single B.o.B song.

Eminem or Dr. Dre: I used to like Eminem. Then I discovered SO MANY OTHER THINGS. I still sometimes listen to him for shits-and-giggles nostalgia, but I can't say I'm a fan and I don't really like anything newer than "The Eminem Show", the one album we had in the house when I was younger. Dr. Dre, I'm not familiar with at all.

Flo Rida or Pitbull: NO.

Enya or A.R. Rahman: "Only Time" by Enya is pretty. Never heard of Rahman.

Adam Lambert or David Archuleta: Adam Lambert, I guess. At least I have somewhat positive feelings for him. And hey, he inspired Eurobeat artist Jager, who I love. =P Archuleta, whatever, can't name a single song, I don't care.

Charice or Destiny's Child: Never heard of Charice, but I have an irrational hate for Beyonce. XD

Bruno Mars or Colbie Caillet: Bruno Mars managed to give me two character songs (Grenade for Nel, Run Rabbit for Ven - neither song portrays the characters in a nice light, though). So credit for that, I guess? And Just The Way You Are is cute. HATE Lazy Song. Colbie... is she the chick who sang Bubbly? *shudder*

Enrique Iglesias or Shakira: Shakira sang Objection and She Wolf. Enrique sang what amounts to an advertisement for roofies. Shakira wins hands down.

LMFAO or Far East Movement: Gun in mouth.

Hilary Duff or Jennifer Lopez: Never had an opinion on J-Lo, but I do like Hilary's earlier Disney-era pop fluff. Leave me alone, Come Clean was awesome. =P

Jessie J or Katy Perry: Heard one Jessie J song, I have no real opinion on it. Katy Perry... I like Hot & Cold and ET, I Kissed A Girl and Last Friday Night drive me to violent murder. So, um, she balances out?

Kesha or Justin Timberlake: HAAAAAAAATE

Leona Lewis or Kelly Clarkson: Kelly Clarkson, I guess. Probably for character purposes - Because Of You can be tweaked nicely for Crona's sake. Leona Lewis, I can barely remember. Did she sing Bleeding Love? Meh, whatever on that one.

Maroon 5 or *NSYNC: *NSYNC. I REGRET NOTHING. THE SONG POP IS AWESOME. XD Maroon 5... they range from boring to obnoxious (UGH, Payphone) and Adam Levine is a dickweed.

The Pussycat Dolls or OneRepublic: I like Beep by Pussycat Dolls, so them? I know I've heard of OneRepublic... did they do Apologize and Good Life? I hated both.

Miley Cyrus or Christina Aguilera: Christina, since I remember more liked titles from her - Dirty, Fighter, and Candyman. Miley... I know I've liked several songs from her, but the only one I can think of is See You Again. And I hated The Climb more than anything I can think of from Christina, so.

Sting or Santana: OK, this is going to be dorky, but - Sting, because he recorded My Funny Friend and Me, which isn't special on its own, but then Eurobeat artist Mickey B. covered it and it was pretty good. And hey, that song was in The Emperor's New Groove, which was AWESOME. Santana... I don't have any opinion on him on his own because I only know one song by him where he's not featuring someone I've heard of already. *shrug*

FaVoRiTe ArTiSt

Alternative band?: How does one define alternative? Whenever I listen to alternative stations, the genres seem so varied that I can't pin down what qualifies a song for the genre. ^-^;

Classical composer?: None. I'm an uncultured swine. =<

Country singer?: I used to love Shania Twain and Jessica Andrews, but I haven't listened to them - or any country - in a long time. I've always preferred female-vocal poppy country over the twangy "trucks and horses and beer and God" type stuff.

Hip Hop singer/group?: MC Frontalot. =P

Pop artist?: I'm going to restrict this to American radio pop, or I would be here ALL DAY. With that restriction in place, Lady Gaga wins by a landslide.

Pop song?: Again, restricting it to stuff that currently comes on the radio - I'm really liking "Lights" by Ellie Goulding, "Some Nights" by Fun, and "She's So Mean" by Matchbox 20 (but "She's So Mean" might be because mom keeps playing it and it's so perfect for Church/Tex. =P "You'll never let her go, why can't you let her go?") And possibly "Gangnam Style" by Psy, since while I haven't heard that on the radio personally, I know other people in other areas who have.

R&B soul artist?: Nah, not my thing.

Latin Pop Artist?: I can't even name any. XD

NEXT

Do you frequently color in coloring books?: No. I should, though. It's fun.

Do you write songs, poems, or journal?: I'm journaling now. =D

Or do you not write at all?: I write fiction. =3 I should get the courage to post my original stuff here...

Most boring movie you had to sit through?: Most recently... um, The Lorax. I'm sorry. Don't hurt me!

What punishment should cheaters receive?: That's up to the person they cheated on. If someone cheated on me, personally, they'd be dumped out of my life without another word. Sheer betrayal, that's what it is. To me, physical/emotional violence is the only worse thing than cheating in a relationship.

Do you go to the movies often?: Nah, not really. I don't normally have the patience. I think I've gone more this year than I have in a LONG time - there's usually not a lot I want to see.

Opinion on drugs?: It's not for me and it's none of my business what other people do. I just don't want anything to do with any of it - nicotine, alcohol, marijuana, nothing.

Is your best friend of the opposite sex?: My best friend is Chad, so yes. =3 Honestly, of all my friends, I think there's an even 50/50 split of genders. Gender just doesn't matter to me when I make friends.

Do you struggle to find love?: Never have - I was never really LOOKING. But then I stumbled into it and I don't have to look anymore. <3

Do you feel like a personal punchingbag for someone?: Mom. =<

Ever had a nervous breakdown?: Ugh. Several.

Can you handle watching doctors perform surguries?: Never tried, don't wanna. I cannot handle innards.

Do you feel the need to always be in a relationship?: No. Chad's my first real relationship, and we got together emotionally at 18 but didn't do anything physical (I mean as basic as hugging and kissing) until 20. God forbid this ending, but if it ever did, I wouldn't feel a dire need to get into another relationship. I made it 20 years without human contact, and if I can't have Chad, then I could do it again.

Who do you rely on to comfort you when you're sad?: Chad and Shannon are my best comforts.

Any books you can reccommend to me?: I, um, rarely read books anymore. ^-^;; Hunger Games and Catching Fire, maybe? But I hated Mockingjay... can I call myself a fan of a series if I can't even bring myself to finish the last book?

Define what you think punk rock is: I have NO IDEA. Ask someone who's actually into it. I listen to the sort of music that most punks threaten with fire.

Ever wanted someone who was already in a relationship?: No. If I did, I'd back away quickly.

Do you think it's creepy when people hang deer heads on the wall?: I have no opinion on it. Mom's husband does it. It's less creepy than I expected it to be before he moved in, now I'm just desensitized to it.

Do you go through reltaionships quickly?: Nope. First real one, been in it for almost three years now.

Or do you prefer long term relationships?: Definitely. Passionate whirlwind romances aren't my style.

Does time heal all wounds?: I don't think so. Most wounds need some sort of work.

Do you whine or complain a lot?: I do tend to complain. ^-^;

What movies terrified you as a child?: POLTERGEIST. Ugh. My only memory of that movie involved a guy clawing his face off. NEVER AGAIN. I also hated Scream. ...and, um, the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I did not find kids being injured by the factory to be charming, it just freaked me out. XD

Are you still scared by horror films?: Sort of. I like being scared by atmosphere and creepy plots, but I still can't do gore or jump scares. "Soul Eater", "Madoka Magica", and certain scenes in "Red vs. Blue" are my ideal horrors over your average slasher flick.

Would you enjoy being famous?: My ideal fame would be as a novelist, where I'd show off for the occasional book signing, but for the most part be left alone to read positive reviews on my books.

Do you alter your clothing in any way?: No. I just buy t-shirts, jeans, and jogging shorts. That is all. Forever.

What makes you tick?: Eating alarm clocks.

How do you relax?: Writing, listening to music, watching anime.

If you could be a mythical creature, what would you be?: Dragon. I've always loved dragons. Or perhaps a nekomata (magical cat thing from Japanese mythology - Espeon is based on them.)

Ever made out with the last person you texted?: I don't even remember the last person I texted! XD If it was Chad, yes. ;3 Otherwise, no.

When you go to work, do you have to wear a uniform?: My job description is basically "housewife" - I just take care of my brother, cook dinner, and keep the kitchen clean. That's my area. So, no. My uniform is pajamas half the time. =P

Do you work at all?: I consider looking after the house to be work. I don't mind doing it, but if I got a real job or went back to school, I wouldn't be able to keep up with it like I do now.

Write some of your favorite lyrics: "I'm taking in water, I must be sinking fast. The lesson I must learn, if you're not first, you're last. But the water in my lungs is keeping me from breathing free, and everything I've done is flashing right in front of me... have you lost someone you could have saved?" Mamelodi Sundown by Bis. It's my favorite song-by-lyrics right now. And yes, it's for character purposes again - I've attributed it to Epsilon. If RvB was viddable, I would have done so by now.

Are you good at decorating of any sort?: NO! XD I have no eye for visuals.

Do you watch Mtv? Or do you completely loathe it?: I haven't watched MTV in years, so I don't know what's on it now. Is it still all stupid reality shows? I never liked reality shows much.

Are you street smart or book smart?: Book smart. I can process and memorize information. But when it comes to interacting with people out in the real world, absolutely not. XD It's all part of the Asperger's.

Ever have random outbursts of defiance?: I've tried VERY rarely with mom. It never works out well, so I don't know why I bother.

Have a strong belief in anything?: I'd say yes, even if I can't think of anything in particular right now. It wouldn't be religion, I was never a strong Christian even before I knew atheism was an option, but anything else...?

Would you survive in a jungle by yourself? : Definitely not. I'm a wuss. XD

Ever been deathly ill?: I was when I was born - gastroschisis - but not at a time when I could remember.

Tell me a random fact about yourself: I actually finished Sailor Moon Classic last night! I feel special! ...four more seasons to go...

What makes you feel complete?: Chad. =3 *happy squeeky romantic noises* *I'm a mush*

You have Asperger's? Me too! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one in the world who has it since I hardly know anyone who has it lol
